Course Overview

This ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Module Training offered in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, provides those IT leaders, practitioners and support staff who already hold the ITIL v3 expert (or have 17 points under the ITIL v3 scheme) with a transition to the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation. Students will get a deeper understanding of the key concepts of the service value system that enables successful management of modern IT-enabled services. It also prepares delegates for the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition examination which leads to the award of ITIL 4 Managing Professional status. The course is based on the ITIL 4 best practice service value system featured in the latest 2019 guidelines.

Course Curriculum


ITIL V3 certified professionals transitioning to ITIL 4 are best suited for this course. This course also is appropriate for IT managers, IT architects, system administrators, operations managers, database administrators, service delivery professionals, quality analysts, development teams, and process owners and practitioners.


To be eligible to take this transition module, you should have:

ITIL Expert (v3) certificate
A minimum of 17 credits from the Foundation and Intermediate/Practitioner/Manager modules from previous versions
ITIL 4 Foundation and 15 credits from the ITIL V3 system

In other words, if you have passed (or are prepared to take) the MALC exam, then you are eligible to complete this transition module to obtain your ITIL 4 certification.
