ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For an individual to be eligible for Project Management Professional (PMP)® Program he/she needs to have some experience in the areas of project management. However, the eligibility criteria may differ on the basis of individual’s qualifications. PMI (Project Management Institute) has kept different criterion for different professionals which are as follows:

For the professionals who have a Bachelor’s degree, the eligibility conditions are:

  • Minimum of 4500 hours of leading & directing projects
  • 35 hours at least of Project Management education
  • Project Management experience of at least 3 years

For the professionals possessing high school diploma/secondary education, the conditions are:

  • Minimum of 7500 hours in leading & directing project
  • 35 hours at least of Project Management education
  • Project Management experience of at least 5 years
